Principal Investigator

Wen Cheng (程文)
Dr. Wen Cheng is an Associate Professor (Tenure-Track) in the School of Integrated Circuits at Nanjing University. His research centers on advanced flexible sensors and electronic skin, with a particular interest in bridging flexible electronics, biomimetic sensing mechanisms, and system-level design. His work aims to develop non-invasive, imperceptible, and long-term sensing devices for health monitoring and precision medicine, as well as advanced sensing systems for robotic perception and human–machine interaction.
Prior to joining Nanjing University in 2024, Dr. Cheng conducted postdoctoral research at the National University of Singapore, where he was affiliated with the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, the Institute for Health Innovation and Technology (iHealthtech), and The N.1 Institute for Health, working with Prof. Benjamin C. K. Tee. He received his Ph.D. in 2018 from the School of Electronic Science and Engineering, Nanjing University, under the supervision of Prof. Lijia Pan and Academician Yi Shi.
